Transferring Domains Away

We are always sorry to leave a customer leave. If there's any thing that we can do to keep you, please let us know by contacting customer services from the 'Client Area'. However if you choose otherwise, to transfer a domain away from us, please follow these instructions.

1 Log into your 'Client Area'.

2 Go to 'Domains' from the top menu followed by 'My Domains'.

3 Click on the 'Manage Domain' button shown on the right hand side of the respective domain.

4 Go to the 'Management Tools' tab from the sub navigation followed by 'Get EEP Code'.

5 Please now 'Check your Emails'.

In your emails you will find a message regarding the requested authorisation key for your domain, with the EPP key included. This will now need to be provided to the new registrar to initiate the domain transfer.

6 You will now need to put the domain in an unlocked status. Go to the 'Registrar Lock' tab from the sub navigation.

7 Select 'Disable Registrar Lock'.

By this point, your domain transfer will be in progress.

Information Domain transfers may take up to 10 days to complete. Therefore the domain renewal date must be greater than this. A domain transfer does not affect your website or email services. Please also ensure the WHOIS contact information is up to date because the administrator contact email address listed will be sent an email which will need to be accessed in order to approve the transfer.
