How to Transfer a Domain

You can easily transfer a domain to us through the 'Client Area'.


Pre-transfer Checklist

  • Check the domain WHOIS information is up to date.
  • Make sure you have access to the administrative contact email address.
  • WHOIS registrar lock is disabled.
  • The domain renewal is more than 10 days.
  • You have the EEP authorisation key from the current registrar.

Transferring a Domain

1 Log into your 'Client Area'.


2 Go to 'Domains' from the top menu followed by 'Transfer Domains to Us'.


3 Type in the domain you wish to register into the centre box and select the domain extension from the drop down list.

Select 'Check Availability' to continue.


4 Your domain will now be confirmed on screen.

Select 'Add to Cart' to continue.

Information At this stage multiple domain names can be entered if you are looking to transfer more than one.


5 Enter the 'EEP Code' obtained from the current registrar for the authorisation that consents the transfer is genuine. If you are not sure what this is, please contact your current registrar for this otherwise the transfer cannot be made.

If you are using custom nameservers, please configure these under the 'Nameservers' heading otherwise the default entries can be left.

Select 'Update Cart' to continue.


6 Please now review your order.

Select 'Checkout' to continue.


7 You will now need to confirm your details and payment method.

Once complete, select 'Complete Order' to complete the transfer domain request process.


Information Domain transfers may take up to 10 days to complete. A domain transfer does not affect your website or email services.
