QuestionsCategory: WordpressHow can I create a widgetised sidebar?
Mark Cole asked 1 year ago
I was wondering if someone could spare a few minutes to help me out. I’ve read a couple of tutorials on this but can’t seem to get my head around it. I’ve made a new theme and have made all of the required files such as header.php, footer.php and sidebar.php. I’ve built up my sidebar with a bunch of div’s and UL lists within each. At the moment I’m just outputting recent posts, categories and archives but I want to turn them into widgets so I can drag and drop them into the sidebar? I realise this is probably straight forward and I’ve tried a few solutions but I can’t seem to get anything to output. Any thoughts?
