Managed or Unmanaged? What's the difference?
In short, it’s all in the name. A managed cloud VPS is a server which is fully managed by us. That means we take care of the install of the control panel, keep it secure, upgraded and fix any issues that may arise. We also configure, add modules and updates at your request. Essentially, we manage all aspects of your server in full. An unmanaged is the opposite. You will be required to manage all of the previously mentioned aspects yourself, you’ll essentially be given a blank server.
Can I Manage It Myself?
Yes, we offer a wide range of unmanaged solutions, just check our additional unmanaged cloud server offerings page. Please keep in mind though you will be responsible for every element of your server managed, so if you’re not experienced in this field a managed solution might be the better way to go.
