Turn off Comment Notifications in WordPress

            Do you have a high traffic blog and don't want the masses of emails you recieve when users comment on your blog?

Do you prefer to check your comments moderation queue daily, instead of getting an email every time a comment is added to the queue?

Follow our simple steps below to disable these emails notifications:

  1. Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

  2. Click on Settings -> Discussion:

Once this page has loaded, simply uncheck the 2 options shown below:

Save your settings, and comments will no longer be emailed to you.

Of course, if you still want to recieve emails when a comment is put into the moderation queue, then leave that box checked and you’ll still recieve those emails.
